Tim Garland is a unique jazz polymath, playing saxes, bass clarinet and flute with Ronnie Scott’s band and then with Chick Corea which won Tim a Grammy. In 2018 Weather Walker, featuring pianist Jason Rebello, and Yuri Goloubev on bass, received five-star reviews. In their trio format, expect an enchanting mix of soaring melody, sophisticated jazz and earthy folk influences. Plus the extraordinary guest talent of South Africa’s Abel Selaocoe on cello, Thomas Gould on violin, and a group of young Wells Cathedral School string players alongside projections on the big screen.
